After Fiona was born we sent out an e-mail entitled "WE ARE COMPLETELY ASTONISHED." The expression on John's face pretty much says it all.

Upon returning home from the hospital a bouquet of metallic helium balloons and a three foot stork were delivered with a card from family back East. The delightfully bold gift choice was meant to channel the enthusiasm of John's nephews, Zach and Adam. The magic stork also seemed to give impetus to neighbors to bring our family lots of presents and food.
