Actually, we went to a party at our friend Joe's house. An old neighbor and good friend, Joe is an artist as well as a chef (same thing anyway, right?) and spends his free time doing window installations in his own apartment. It is, in fact, his own apartment now as the party was a housewarming: Joe bought his place. We're most happy for him and look forward to further salon gatherings with him and his crew.
