GOOD-BYE TO A MENTOR
When we first decided to go back to Michigan for a while, I was looking forward to attending the lectures of my former mentor, Sister Anthonita Porta. The second day we arrived I was going to meet her at her office; she wasn't there when I arrived. I learned later that she died that day. It was a tremendously sad event for me. However, I am so grateful for all that she contributed to the world and for all that I gleaned from her when I knew her. And, somehow, I think I am still learning from her even how.
