INDEPENDENCE DAY
Fiona began crawling last week. She was pretty mobile before... let's just say she's extremely mobile now. She's greatly enjoying her newfound independence. Perhaps it's not a coincidence that she had one of her first temper tantrums on the same day she started crawling. She had been eating butternut squash (mixed with milky) and finished it quickly. I then switched to carrots. After one bite she seemed to say, "Hey, this isn't squash..." and after a second she made us very aware of her discontent. After a minute of angry squawks we took a quiet evening walk around the block, after which she fell soundly asleep.
