Ferdie and Fiona are developing a nice relationship. He actually seeks out her affection by lying close and rubbing his head against her little hand; she's learning how to pet him gently and to avoid the temptation of pulling his tail.

Most of the time, however, Ferdinand roams throughout the neighborhood. He appears to think he's alpha; he wanders into neighbors' yards, chases away their own cats, meanders into their houses and lays down on their couches. This has happened more than once.

At home, though, he might not be so alpha. (But please don't tell him I told you so.)
